The Active Autowerke M340i/M440i midpipe was engineered to add that little extra to those looking to get some more sound from the factory or after-market M340i and M440i exhausts, while also allowing for optimum flow and resonance by removing the resonator in the Y from the BMW stock midpipe. Every effort was made to ensure that the midpipe would work with the stock exhaust and enhance the sound with a deeper tone.
