Like its brethren, the M3 and M4, the G87 M2 is a giant leap forward from its predecessor in terms of overall performance and its capabilities. Not surprising given the latter model borrowing heavily from its older siblings' part catalog resulting in a wide swath of components being interchangeable amongst the trio. A few inlet pipe bends prevent the exhaust from being one of those but the M2 is still largely the same as the G8x M3/M4 system. This allowed the extensive drone abatement development applied on those platforms to be used on the G87, fast tracking the R&D process. The result is the introduction of another member of G8x valved axle back exhaust family that elevates the tone to a deeper, more meaningful note while also delivering an extra level of amplification above and beyond its stock counterpart.
