Dorch DE1500 Direct Injectors - Gen 1 B58

Once the high-pressure pump is upgraded, the factory direct injectors become the limit on a Gen 1 B58. Dorch developed the DE1500 with Stanadyne as a new injector, not a modified OEM one. The aim is much more flow while keeping a stock-like idle on pump gas, and materials chosen for E85.

What you get

• Set of six DE1500 direct injectors, flow-matched as a set.
• Rated flow: about 1,550 cc at 200 bar, against about 900 cc for the stock injector (Dorch's figures).

Power, as Dorch rates it

• Gasoline: about 1,050 whp of injector capacity (stock: about 675).
• E50: about 900 whp (stock: about 600).
• E85: about 800 whp (stock: about 520).
• Dorch calls these numbers conservative and notes that the tune makes a big difference.

Good to know

• The injectors need software support. Ask your tuner before ordering.
• Dorch covers them with its lifetime warranty.
• Fits Gen 1 B58 cars through the 2019 model year: M140i, M240i (F22), 340i (F30), 440i (F32), 540i (G30), 640i GT (G32), 740i (G11) and X3/X4 M40i (G01/G02). It does not fit 2020+ (Gen 2) B58 cars.
