VTT Remote Oil Filter Kit – BMW S58 VTT is excited to introduce our Remote Oil Filter Kit for the BMW S58 engine —engineered to simplify oil filter access, streamline plumbing, and reduce weight and complexity. This kit removes the factory oil filter housing and relocates the filter underneath the vehicle, allowing for easy access and the use of a standard spin-on filter . The filter IS ACCESSIBLE even with the aluminum belly pan on, as long as you are not running a stock-style cross over downpipe. ⚠️ Important Note: This kit deletes the factory oil cooler unless you choose to plumb it back in yourself. It is intended primarily for drag racing applications , where oil cooling is not needed for short-duration runs. For street, circuit, or road racing , an oil cooler is highly recommended .
